What to pack for a trip to the Mediterranean

Clothes

  • Comfortable walking shoes and sandals
  • Long-sleeved top and full-length trousers (for sun and mosquito protection)
  • Lightweight and light-coloured clothing
  • Warm clothing and thermal wear (depending on itinerary and time of year)
  • Rain jacket and fold-up umbrella (even in summer)
  • Swimsuit (for sauna and plunge pools)
  • Sunglasses and sunhat

Documents

  • Passport (valid, in good condition, with empty pages)
  • Photocopy of passport
  • Travel insurance documents (covering your full journey and activities)
  • Vaccination certificate
