Capture the Essence of the Wild
World Photography Day is an annual global celebration of the art of photography – something that is a core component of all of AE Expeditions’ voyages to the world’s wildest destinations.
To celebrate, we’re calling all passionate photographers and adventurers to showcase their best images that capture the beauty and awe-inspiring wonders of the wild, including its captivating creatures, untamed landscapes and the adventurous travellers who dare to visit them. Four gift cards for photography equipment or accessories are up for grabs!*
Our expeditions represent an invaluable opportunity for expeditioners of all skill levels to develop technical and creative photography skills in our Photography program. With an expert Photography Guide or renowned Special Guest Photographer joining every voyage, it really is an opportunity to learn from the world’s best!
After listening to photography lectures and presentations, learning how to set up your camera or optimise your smartphone settings, and discovering game-changing photography tips and tricks, you will be ready to capture the essence of the wild in Antarctica, the Arctic and beyond like a professional.
Our purpose-built new ships, the Greg Mortimer and the Sylvia Earle, were designed for discovery, carrying a maximum of 130 passengers. Travelling in small groups means that, unlike on larger ships, you can join every excursion, with more opportunities to explore the natural environment with your camera in hand.
Backed by 32 years’ experience, our Expedition Team will encourage you to push your boundaries and help you build a deeper understanding and connection with the wild places we visit, making the unforgettable moments you capture even more valuable.
*Entries close on 17 September, while voting closes on 30 September 2023 AEST. Full terms and conditions apply.
