AE Expeditions (part of Aurora Expeditions) is an award-winning, Australian-owned expedition cruise company that has been pioneering polar travel for over 33 years. Founded on the guiding principles of adventure and endless exploration, our world-class Expedition Team facilitates perspective-altering cruises in some of the most remote and incredible places on earth, with a range of classic expeditions, discovery voyages and treks to choose from in Antarctica, the Arctic and beyond.

Our purpose-built new ships, the Greg Mortimer and the Sylvia Earle, were designed for discovery, carrying a maximum of 132 passengers. Travelling in small groups means that, unlike on larger ships, you can join every excursion, with more opportunities to explore the natural world and participate in unique activities including kayaking, snorkelling and diving.
