Aurora expeditioner and Antarctica enthusiast, Charles Lindall, has released his brand new ‘Antarctica Bus’ after spending over 12-months preparing the bus for display.
Charles’ new ‘Antarctica Bus’ has been created to inspire and excite a passion for Antarctica wherever he travellers, as well as educate on the continent’s expansive history and wildlife.
Wrapped with a vibrant display of Antarctic wildlife and scenery, the inside features an exhibit including a topographic map of Antarctica along with hand-made replicas of Shackleton’s rescue vessel, the James Caird, and items from the interior of Mawson’s Hut (in honour of Charles’ Antarctic hero, Sir Douglas Mawson).
Charles, who is a retired Ship Master, has made the journey to East Antarctica twice with AE Expeditions. From school visits to public events, Charles will be travelling the throughout New South Wales to regale with his own stories of Antarctica and to inform and educate communities on this amazing continent.
